About Me
Welcome! My name is Jahna Golly and I am a LPC-MHSP located in Knoxville, TN. I’m passionate about supporting children and families who are working through the challenges of trauma, attachment struggles, and behavioral difficulties. I specialize in helping families, especially parents of adoptive children and populations facing barriers of adverse child hood experiences, find the tools and understanding they need to heal and thrive together.
My approach is rooted in a trauma-informed lens, and I believe that healing comes from understanding the whole person—body, soul, and mind. Trauma affects so much more than just our thoughts; it impacts how we function in the world. That’s why I incorporate both cognitive therapy, play, creative expression, and body movement into my work, helping individuals connect with themselves and develop a sense of safety and stability.
I’m deeply committed to supporting our community, and my goal is to create a space where healing feels possible and lasting. Together, we’ll build a supportive therapeutic web that nurtures growth and helps families find strength, connection, and resilience.
I am also passionate about partnering with other community providers and professionals who recognize the importance of developing and implementing trauma-informed therapeutic strategies. Together, we can build a supportive and cohesive network that prioritizes safety, empowerment, and healing for individuals affected by trauma. By sharing knowledge, resources, and expertise, we can design and refine therapeutic approaches that are responsive to the unique needs of the community, creating an environment where individuals feel understood, respected, and empowered in their journey toward their best self. Let’s join forces to make a lasting impact through compassionate, trauma-informed care.
